Daytona CV Axle Auto Repair
Dishonest auto repair shop, i deserve better!

I took my car to CV Axle (Wednesday, October 10) aftera referral from a professor at my university. I knew I needed brakes as well asa compressor. The man informed me that he would fix the caliber, rooter, andbrake pad on both back brakes as well as the front brake pad. I was alsosupposed to have my air compressor put in and filled with antifreeze. I went to pick up my car and was told the price was $506. Iasked the mechanic Lew if there was anything else wrong with my car before Ileave. He told me no. I paid the man and left the shop; moments later I wasback at the shop due to my car shaking and smoking. I returned to the shop and I was told that I needed a newradiator which was an additional $285. On August 21st the car justhad a radiator service but two months later this man is telling me I need a newradiator. I called a friend to come and look at my car. The man told him to goto the junk yard and get a radiator but he was not supposed to tell me thatbecause his job was to make money. My radiator was fixed by using JB Welding. Later thatevening my car was smoking from another part of my car and would not start. Today (Sunday, October 14) my car starts and stops when it wants to. Itshakes really bad and then will cut off. During this time I was unable to usethe air in my car, which was supposed to get fixed. I am a college student who does not have $500 to throw away. My car was not working for a week and I had to worry about getting to and fromwork and school. My car was in worse shape than it has ever been. I took my car to another shop to get a second opinion. I wasinformed that the hose was taken off in order to put the compressor on whichlead to the upper radiator hose to rub against the compressor. I had to payanother shop an additional $88 to fix the problem this shop caused. The ownerstates that they do not take the hose off of the car in order to put the hoseon the car. When I asked Lew, who worked on the car did he take the hose off hetold me that he was unsure. He also told me that he job was to make money. Withthis being said I would like to be reimbursed. I did not get what I asked for. I have letters, pictures, as well as our conversation recordedwhen I went to visit the shop to see if we could come to an agreement. He wasvery rude and nasty when I went to visit the shop. He told me that people likeme is the reason he is closing his shop. I want to be reimbursed! If I havenever had a problem with my car, why now do I? I am a 20n year old collegestudent and he thought he could get over on me.
