They have been a very difficult company to get anything done with. I had a faulty air bag in my vehicle to which they gave an authorization number for, and told me it was covered. When I went to pick up the car I was told that I had to pay $793.60 and mail in the receipt to Wynns for reimbursement.
I went ahead and did that as instructed. I contacted the company to check the status of my reimbursement. They told me that there was a discrepancy with the address and the name on the contract. I went through my original dealership and had them fax me copies of all of the original purchase paperwork. I in turn re faxed the documents to Wynns.
I called again to follow up and was greeted by a rather rude csr, who transferred me to a manager. The manager apologized for the confusion, and the behavior of the person. She stated that everything was corrected and that I would be receiving a check.
Some time had passed and I realized that I had not received the check so I went ahead and placed another call to Wynns. I was told that the grace period had passed and that I would not be receiving my check. They are stating that I did not submit the proper paperwork in time and for that reason I would not be receiving my check.
Now I do work in the news industry and will be pursuing this on that level, but if anyone has had similar issues please post below.
