Ripoff a serious defect with their batteries United States

I purchased a Buick Park Avenue that had one of AC Delco's Batteries stock from the manufacture. After a few months the battery started leaking acid from the positive battery terminal. The battery was replaced with a new AC Delco battery and once again after a few months the battery started leaking acid from the positive terminal.

After going through 4 new AC Delco batteries all of which started leaking acid from the positive terminal, I installed a new battery from a different manufacturer. Its now almost 2 years and no more leaking from the positive terminal with the battery from another manufacturer. This leaking has destroyed the paint on my car and destroyed the metal where the battery sits.

Now my Daughter purchased a new Chevy Cavalier that also has a stock AC Delco battery from the manufacturer. A few days ago she tried to open the hood of the car and the cable broke. I opened the hood from the front of the car to replace the broken Hood Release Cable and I noticed that the Battery was leaking Acid from the positive terminal. This leaking acid has eaten through the Hood Release Cable and has also damaged the metal of the car where the battery sits.

It appears that AC Delco has a serious defect with their batteries. I spoke with an Owner at Discount Auto Stores and he told me that they stopped selling AC Delco batteries because of this exact same problem, and they were tired of having to replace them under the warranty.

I think it would be a good thing if someone would start a Class Action Law Suite against AC-Delco so the thousands of consumers with this problem can recover all their losses from AC Delco. Also this is a dangerous condition because it can cause someone to loose their LIFE due to a fire or to loose control of their Automobile on the highway.

If there is an attorney out there that would be willing to take this case on a contingency bases I am willing to work with them in any way, as a consumer that has been damaged by AC Delco's faulty product.
