I just replaced my 4th leaking AC Delco 786YR battery. Leaking batteries 1 and 2 were covered by my GM warranty.

Battery 3 cost me over $300, $51 for prorated battery, the rest was parts and labor due to acid leak. Leaking battery 4 is also over $300 but I finally wised up and bought a different manufacturer's battery. $49 for the battery, the rest for parts and labor due to yet another acid leak.

Both Chevrolet and AC Delco have been less than forthcoming with info and help. Now that I have found a real name and address through RIP OFFs, I just filed a written acid leak claim with Delco. If that fails, I will seek reimbursement through legal system.
