On the 16th of October, my wife and I went down to Boniface Hiers Mazda Kia dealership to test drive a 2003 Honda Odyssey LX van with 21K Miles on it. Advertised price on the vehicle (I thought) was for $17,995. The same van was written in the paper at Boniface Hiers affiliate store in Merritt Island (Boniface Chrysler-Dodge). When I called and then drove all the way up there, I found out that they did not have the van and could not locate the advertised van (even though the one in Melbourne location had the same EXACT van).
Drove back to Melbourne to find out they claim the vehicle was written inacurately in the local paper (Florida Today). Which numbers were super imposed? How can you advertise a vehicle for $17,995 and not get it correctly? Is it supposed to be $71,995 or how about $51,799? Not only could they not find the vehicle (even though it IS at the Melbourne locale) but THEY refused to honor the advertised price. Sales people were rude and managers just as bad.
I am about to write AJ Hiers a letter and have started my search of his financial backers, as everyone has someone they report to. CONSUMERS PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND SCAM! If for some reason there is a way that Mr. Hiers will receive this and actually contact me to discuss, I will update accordingly. Personally, I work for a very large employer in the area and have many contacts of other massive employers in the area. Word of mouth spreads and cuts harder than losing one miniscual sale on a used vehicle. Bought two vehicles previously from them and would think that Boniface Hiers would keep the loyalty issue in hand when issues arise. Guess I was severly wrong. Please heed to my experience as I am hoping others will learn from this poor experience.
