On 8/25 my son bought a car from solo autos inc of houston tx 9214 n freeway 77037. Before the first payment was even made solo autos inc had sold the loan to mid atlantic finance company. My son make his first payment to Mid atlantic. No one had called from solo at anytime after the first sell. My son was dealing with mid atlantic. However on Oct 16th he rec'd a call from the owner of solo autos inc he stated that my son needed to make his payment or the car was going to be repo. My son was confused due to the fact he had been dealing with mid atlantic. My son called mid atlantic and they said there was no one else he should be talking to. My son explained to the operator that the owner of solo autos inc was calling him and stated if he did not make the payment the car would be repo. Again Mid atlantic stated there was no ordered for repo of this car the payment was just due and it was noted that marc called in and had informed them of his payday had changed to the 10th and 25th of each month now. Nothing else was said. Again the owner of solo autos inc stated he was buying back the loan and repo the car. I'm not sure how this is legal. If your loan is bought by a finance company how is the old car lot have any control. I have made a complaint with the OCCC of texas and the federal trade commission.
