Rear-ended by American Freedom Insurances insured 10/6. Filed a police report and a claim with American Freedom Insurance. Drove out to Streamwood, IL to get an estimate from CTS, a contracted repair shop to fulfill report. Received two other independent estimates for ~ $800 each. After calling for months the claim was denied because they could not confirm with their insured. Filed with the Better Business Bureau, and after months American Freedom offered ~$300, the cost THEIR repair shop estimated for my new car. I requested the full $800 to replace the bumper and tailpipe, not just repaint it like CTS offered. They denied paying more than their contracted. Now filing with Illinois Department of Insurance. Will eventually take them to small claims. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM.
