I took my 2003 Saturn Sedan car to Tire Kingdom on Friday, September 14th for repair of what I thought it`s a simple thing, only to be told that the shrucks on both the front and rear of the vehicle has been messed up and would need replacement before the car could drive again and that it will cost me close to $900.00 to fix it.
I don`t have the money right away, hence I told them that I will call them back once I`m ready with the money. I called the service back on saturday, September 15th to give them a go-ahead to fix the car as suggested and they call me to pick up the car in the evening but the time was too late for me hence I told them that I`ll be picking up my car on Sunday, they said that will be fine.
I showed up with my son on Sunday, the car is already parked in the front waiting to be picked up and before I paid the service person attending to me, I asked him, Is my car running well now? He replied with a tone of confidence in his voice "Oh yes, you won`t have to worry anymore for a long time over your tires and your break!" and therefore I paid him the sum of $861.27 with my debit card, my account was debited on the spot!!!
I signed the paper and I left my son there so that I don`t get to Church late with the belief that my car is running well now and I told my son to meet me in Church soon. I was worried when my son did not show up in Church but I was patient enough till end of the service only fo find out that my son was actually stranded at Tire Kingdom, my car isn`t going to move afterall. I made it to Tire Kingdom and the same service man that attended to me in the morning is now telling me that the break to the car is messed up! Now, tell me, does this happen overnight? This is a complete Ripoff!!!
