Promised 150 Dollar Bonus Reduced To 100 After Wrong Promotion Code

American Express offered $150 cash back bonus when I applied online but didn't enter the correct promotion code when they finally processed my application (which by the way, did not take 60 sec. as it says I would online, I had to call to find out what happened with my application.)

So I am stuck with only $100 "reward" instead of $150! Here is the link I clicked on to apply:

I was told too bad, it cannot be changed and will not happen to get the extra $50 I am owed credited to me.
