I am a former employee of Jiffy Lube, I worked there a few months last year and didn't like it, All they do is push sales, I was like I can't work for this company. So I quit, I fell on some hard times and went back hoping that they had cleaned up their act! Was I wrong? The ones that push sales are the regional managers and they push the managers to push the employees to make sales!
There was this one time my manager told me on inspections that when a car comes in to check everything even when its not required on an inspection! An example of this was when he told me you're not making enough sales, You're not helping us out and he was going to have to let me go because of it. He says when a customer comes in, check their wipers and just rip them a bit and go tell them they need wipers! He was like I don't care how you get them to buy something, just get him the sales! I just thought in my head, there is no way I'm going to go do that!
