I put money on a car, actually the whole amount at a used car dealer in Brooklyn, DMD Motors Sports dba DV Autos, 2079 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. I wanted to buy a 2000 Ford Explorer Limited there, on Saturday July 10, but it needed repairs and James, the salesman, said that all of the repairs would be taken care of in a couple of days, he even was saying that he would do things that I didnt even notice. Long story short, I gave them $2600., $1900. For the car, and $700. For sales tax, destination charge, inspection and them getting the registration and tags for it.
They didnt make the repairs, i asked for the money back, they said they would give me a full refund and have been dodging me since. The latest was last week, when a woman named Amita called me and said she was away for 2 months, and that she would have the check for me by yesterday, Thursday, August 30. I told her I couldnt get over to Brooklyn until Saturday, September 1, and she would leave the money with Anna a worker there.
