Jerry's Nissan In Weatherford Texas
Jerry's Nissan ripoff

I will never own a Nissan for as long as I live!

1) I bought a 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE 4 door Sedan with the 100,000 mile extened waranty.

2) With just 38,000 miles on it in 4 years it completly broke down on me yesterday.

3) I had to have it towed to the dealership. Which is the ONLY thing the warranty covered which was $80.

4) Today I received a call from the garage stating the motor had "Severe corroision on all cables, wires, battery etc. Plus the A/C "Pulley" had gone bad with a multiple list of things wrong.

5) To fix everything I was quoted $700.

6) To fix the corrosion that could not be explained only as that is all I can afford will be $320 plus tax. No warranty at all to help in these matters.

7) I was told it was due to the "Wear and tear on the car"???
A) 38,000 actual miles - one time owner - hwy driving only - did everything by the book - and it's wear and tear on a basically still new car?
B) I am expected to pay this large amount for what? Taking care of my car as no one else has ever driven it?
C) So what is the warranty even for? Towing?

8) So now I have to fork out almost if not $400 for a new car's corrosion... in Texas??? No tropical moisture, no salt on the roads in what winter we have, and always been in a garage.

9) The only choice I have now is to get rid of it as it is only going to get worse and I cannot afford to pay out these amounts for such a low milage car that is in excellent condition other than the engine, computer and all electrical, cables and wiring.

10) The only respone I got was "Oh well" "What do you want to do as your warranty does not cover anything?"

11) This is totally outrageous. Where is the "You can drive a Nissan up to and over 300,000 miles? When at 38,000 it has totally fallen apart all on it's own and I'm told "Too bad"???

When I traded a 1989 (8 miles on it when bought-250,000 when sold) Dodge Ram V-8 308 1/2 ton pick up for this piece of crap thinking I was going to get a good car... Wrong!

Prior to this while my car still ran, I had bought a brand new Nissan Fronttier extended cab pickup. It only had 15,000 approx miles on it, only 2 years old. Pulled a run away with me in Kellen Texas on hwy 199 with 4 witnesses to verify almost killing me and God knows who else before I could get it to stop by pulling out the keys while still moving to get it to shut down. Then with no steering and hardly any brakes trying to get it to the side of the road. I called Jerry's Nissan and got, "Well just get it to us some how and we will look at it." Hello!

1) Again, A brand new truck barely broken in. The Nissan Dealership really acted like they could care less.

2) Due to the fact I still owed $10,000 on it, and they did not want it, but figured of tired of listening to me... They made this... Great... Deal.

3) Yep, a new 2005 (mine was a 2003) 180 miles on it for $276.00 a month for 70 months. Did I have a choice? Not that I knew of. Either keep the demon truck or get another one.

4) So now I am in severe dept with a truck that I was totally ripped off on for a truck I only owed 11 months on at $250.

5) And a broken down almost brand new Sentra. But was told by the dealership they "Bended there arms to give me such a "Good" deal. On the "New" truck.
I just feel like everyone and anyone who is interested in a "NEW" Nissan, please don't as they are horrible vehicles and not dependable at all.

If you must have one, then please don't waste your money on the extended warranty as it means nothing, and you get nothing for it but a larger car payment.
Plus be ready to get rid of it after it hits 30,000 miles or you are in big trouble.

Dealerships don't care. Once they get your money and get their big commision for ripping you off, then the heck with you. I am a woman, but even as a man, I know they probably get treated the same way, but nicer as men are more knowledgable than most women.

I am very angry and outraged over this. And Have lost a, what I thought to be, a long term car as I had paid it off in a years time. Now barely making it as lost my job a year ago, and just now got back to work. From $40,000 a year to $12,000 in my salary.

I hate Nissan and I hate Jerry's in Weatherford!
Thank you for nothing but... Ripping me off and a car in the shop that is totally gone and shot! And I get to pay close to $400 to get it out! Oh yeah, and then what? Park it in my garage until I can find a used car dealership to take it. Can't drive it no more as it will still be extremely faulty per the man at the service garage.
