Ripoff 100,000 mile warranty? Yeah right

We have purchased 8 vehicles from GM over the course of 7 years. Throughout those 7 years, 7 of the vehicles purchased were from Rancho Motor Company. 1 was purchased from Mark Christopher Chevrolet (further known as MCC). MCC was a very professional company, and we have had no problems with them. Rancho on the other hand, is another story.

The way GM has been handling my problems with RMC is also another story. I have brought our 97,98, 99,00, & 02 GMC Sierra into the RMC service dept. Several times to get random things fixed. And each of those trucks still have problems due to the fact that RMC cannot or will not fix them. Whatever, we have learned to deal with the fact that we can't switch from one fuel tank to the other. This still doesn't make it right.

I have contacted GM on many occasions to try to settle a matter of my motor going bad due to a turbo repeatedly going bad on our truck. Janel Mond, a customer service rep from GM has always been very helpful and courteous and I do not wish to include her in this complaint. She has gone as far as she could more than once.
She began the escalating process on 8-15-04, to try to handle the situation.

8-19-04, RMC was told to fix the truck by GM. They were not happy about this and began arguing with GM.
8-23-04, I am told that my motor in my truck is fine, and does not need to be replaced.
8-24-04, I am told by Janel that she will begin re-escalating, due to the fact that RMC will not fix it even though they are told to.
8-25-04 RMC showed me the oil pan, which was gross, I will give them that much.
However, the problem with what was in the oil pan, started with the fact that they did not change the oil the last time the turbo was fixed.

&What I want to know is why was I sold a heap of crap that keeps breaking down? & Sure RMC is a crummy dealer, but did they build the truck? No, GM did.
A
fter well over a month of all of this, I am told that Janel cannot supercede what the area service manager does. What he says goes. Then tell me this, what is the point of having a customer service rep? If they cannot do anything to actually fix the situation, why have them?
Janel did say that she was going to speak to her boss and have him speak with the area service manager's boss so they may be able to negotiate something.

I see no point in negotiate anything. GM Diesel trucks have a 100,000 mile warranty. Our turbo was under warranty. When the turbo went bad, it sucked out the oil, cooked what was left, which in the end, caused it to fail. Tell me why I can't have this warrantee.

I think your area service rep has a huge problem with all the power he evidently has. He made sure to keep track of our truck and he black flagged it to all other dealers.
Both RMC and the area service rep for GM have a huge chip on their shoulders, and I plan to fight this until they are knocked right off.

Frankly, I don't mind taking on GM by myself. I will devote all my time into making them understand that not only have I gotten ripped off here, but also that I have bought such a huge piece of junk truck. And, I am not going to take this lying down.
