I have routinely taken this vehiche in to this service department just about every 3,000 mile since I bought it there. I did after all purchase an expensive maintenance police. I have been having an oil change every 3,000 mile in accordance with the dealers sticker placed in the upper left hand corner of the car. Unfortunately after about 18 month the oil change maint portion of the police ran out... It appears that the manufacture of the Jeep only recommend an oil change every 6000 miles, however the dealers service department have been putting a 3000 sticker in my windshield... Now I know it is my responsibility to know the manufactures recommendation, however, this was and out right deception just to increase profitability...
Also, I just learned from this same service department that my rear break rotors will have to be replaced they claim they can not be machined, all of a sudden i hear scraping noises coming from my rear break, It seems that when i brought the jeep in every 3000 miles for the unneeded oil change they did not even check the pads??? This is very unusual and suspicious, and or incompetence now I have to spend almost $500 on a 32,000 mile jeep
