JDByrider repoed my car while I was in bootcamp. I have proof that it is very much against the law:
Protection from repossession or charges for property paid for under an installment contract or lease
If the servicemember's ability to pay for real or personal property, including motor vehicles under an installment contract or lease, has been materially affected because of active duty service, the court can terminate the contract and require repayment of all prior installments and deposits prior to repossession, stay the proceedings until the servicemember is available, or order other relief that is fair to protect the interests of all parties.
Now my only question is how come nobody would help me? It's on my credit and I have proof I served in the military. I joined in Sept. Of 98 and in Nov. Of 98 they repoed my car. I had one month left and would have been able to pay quite a bit on the car when I got out. Well anyway don't get a car from JDByrider because the Attorney General works for them and until we get somebody to care for the everyday hard workers then JDByrider will continue to be able to break the LAW!
If oyu have fought a case like this and one please inform me of what I'm doing wrong. Thanks
