Mercedes Benz Credit is a substandard organization and RIP OFF. Do not finance a balloon loan with Mercedes Benz Credit! On my most recent purchase of a 1999 CLK 320 Coupe in August of 1999 was originally financed on a 3 year balloon. Unfortunately due to the prevailing used car market and depreciation, my CLK was almost $7,000 underwater when I was finished with the 36 month period.
Well enough said about resale value for Merecedes vehicles. I was planning on purchasing another Mercedes but I was under the impression that the vehicle would retain the value that was previously exhibited by my 1996 E320.in August I refinanced the note through Mercedes Benz Credit and have been making appropriate payments. When I am done with this financing program I will have paid: $60,900 for a 46,000 automobile.
By the way, don't use their web site to pay your car payment, they will not credit your account for 3-4 days after you have submitted payment. I you have had similar issues with MB Credit, I would like to hear your thoughts and possibly pursue them for misrepresentation, fraud and deceptive practices.
