I purchased a used vehicle extended warranty for $600. Over the course of 2 years, every thing submitted was refused for some reason or another. It being too big a hassle I let it slide. Then the timing belt broke and the repair price is $5000.
The repair shop stated it was "NOT" due to normal wear and tear, but due to failure of a bearing (which is not even scheduled for maintenance for 80,000 miles).
First American Extended decided this meant it was normal wear and tear and refuses to pay.
