Complaint / Review
Dean McCrary Kia
Ripoff, consumer fraud

I have a 2002 Kia Rio. It was not purchased at the dealership involved, but they finished killing my car. When purchasing the vehicle, I bought an extended warranty that covered the timing belt up to 100000 miles. The timing belt had already been changed at 29000 miles. My car had 97000 miles on it and the timing belt broke and fried my engine. The service managers at Dean McCrary Kia lead me to believe the timing belt repair would be taken care of by the extended warranty and the engine taken care of by the manufacturer warranty. After my engine was in pieces, they called and said the warranty would not pay for my engine. My car was towed back to my house and I was charged $640.20 for them to take my engine apart and leave it in pieces in a box in the trunk. Now I am stuck with a lemon that I still owe $2900 on. I am filing another rip off report against Kia Motors America where I will say all the other problems I've had with the car, and why I need a federal attorney to help me. If any read this please reply. Thank you
