On July 2nd, I went to the Ford dealership in Mountain Home Arkansas to look at a 2004 Explorer Sport Trac, the salesman was very rude and unprofessional. I was going to outright buy the vehicle and he assumed I wanted to trade my 2004 F150 Ford pickup and states to me " I couldn't trade with you before what makes you think I can trade with you now, saying your pickup isn't worth anymore now than it was before." He left me standing in the hot heat for 20 minutes saying he would talk to his supervisor and be back. He did not return and I drove off the lot, 2 days later I returned with my husband and the salesman was rude once again, not trying to sell the vehicle. We were going to offer a cash price, but the salesman was very anxious to lock the door and go home. Little did the salesman know we were going to give my 2004 F150 pickup to my granddaughter and outright buy either a new truck or the 2004 Sport Trac. I have heard other potential customers in this area talk about how rude the salesman are at the Mountain Home dealership. The salesman was resentful in me not taking a low offer on my truck bout 6 months ago. I myself work with the public daily and believe your continue to be friendly and work even harder to make a deal with a customer. I do not find this so at the dealership in Mountain Home. I have always bought new Fords, and in my life time I have purchased several Ford vehicles, but I am considering buying a new Dodge due to the lack of respect shown at the dealership in Mountain Home Arkansas. My father retired from Ford Motor Company and I can't believe how customers are treated in Mountain Home.
