Eastern Motors auto sales is a complete rip-off. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to purchase from them. They made me feel violated.
I purchased my car from Eastern in November it was financed at the high interest rate of 24%. They tried to make me purchase this extended warranty for $1,200, which they claimed the lender required that I purchase. When I insisted on seeing the lender's requirement in writting they waived the requirement.
Less than 30 days after I purchased the car, I discovered that I had an oil leak. When I took my car to a garage to have it checked I was informed that I had a faulty manifold gasket that needed to be replaced, it turned out that the engine had been replaced and the wrong gasket was used, and the brakes needed to be overhauled.
When I contacted Eastern Motors to request assistance with the repairs but they completely avoided me and refused to repair my car. I ended up having to pay $1200 in repairs before I made my first car payment.
