I had a really bad sales experience at Temecula Hyundai. They ran a bait and switch game through the CarWoo car buying program. Temecula Hyundai offered a specific vehicle by email and the car was not there when I arrived at the dealer 45 minutes later. The dealer only had cars with add-ons. I negotiated the price of the add-ons but later found they were not all installed on the car. For example, the edge guards that I did not want were on the sticker but not on installed on the car even though I was charged for them. The dealer offered to install them for "free" a week later but missed the point of the conversation. I did not want a car with their add ons and not every discussion is a sales negotiation. When they lie about items installed on the car, it is a discussion for criminal investigators and regulatory agencies.
There were also quality control problems that I will assume were not intended as theft. For example, the salesman forgot to give me the IPOD cable listed on the monroney sticker. So you get both carelessness and criminal conduct with Temecula Hyundai.
The dealer was very uninterested in providing documentation about the add-ons and the sales manager refused to let me see the dealer invoice because it was locked up and no one had access to it. There were other problems and I am providing more details to DMV, BBB, and Hyunadai Customer Service.
