Used Car "Thug" tactics on a New 2012 Ca

I called Blaise VW and asked for the Internet sales person and was given yo a cheerful and nice gal named Shelly who said someone mane Greg would call me back and when he did I explained that I would be transporting the car out of state and registering and titling in Montana, he promptly told me that this was against the law as they (Blaise Auto) had to register the car when I told him that I knew it wasn't against the law as I have purchased 3 vehicles in the last year in the same manner.

He then hung up on me so I called the General Manager Michael Katsounakis who admitted it wasn't illegal but it was his "law". So I finally agreed as he said his company would register the car for $100 so I finally relented only to get an email back moments latter stating that they couldn't in Montana after Michael had loudly stated "we register in all 50 states". Once we had a deal I offered at least three times to give them a deposit and asked for a sales agreement. He made some very irrational excuses about the work needed to refund the deposit if I didn't buy the car and when I said it's new and I know the car and won't back out. My disabled son had been hit by a dump truck driver and needed a new car ASAP.

He said he would hold the car just come on in and buy it. I felt very uncomfortable as I would be traveling a great distance and had no sales agreement. Despite these concerns I sent him several documents that verified I was registering the car in Montana so that he could prove to VW and the state that the car was being registered in another state. I made the travel arrangements and had the new car adds to my insurance then late in the day after 5: pm I received and email stating it would be $200 more for a "doc" fee despite the fact I was doing all the documentation.

I explained that this was the first time I heard that despite verifying the price several times and asking for a sales agreement and the cars.com web site had no mention of this on the site. After finally offering to split the fee and pay $100 more Michael said sorry the car has been sold and he was on his cell on his way home and not even at the dealership.

He was rude and obviously not well educated in his mannerisms and speech and I told him that these games were not appreciated especially since I had already told my son he would have his car replaced in just a few days! The following morning I had a 5:56 am flight and would not have the chance due to business to search for a car again to the day before I was to pick the one up from Blaise.

I would warn everyone to get everything in writing and be very suspicious if they won't take a deposit or send a sales agreement. I would advise everyone to drive past the Blaise dealerships and find a reputable dealer to purchase a car from rather than a company that would make a 1950's type "Thug" it's sales manager!
