Jim's Motor City is a rip-off. My fiancee bought a vehicle from them a week after our youngest was born. He asked about everything and told that the front brakes had just been replaced. They told him to bring it in, in a couple days and they would replace the rear brakes, so he did. Well, sinced then, they have squealed. I know new brakes make noise for a bit sometimes, but its been over 3 months now and they still squeal. They contacted us in april to inform us that they lost the smog certificate. He had to drop the car off. They had it for 21/2 days. They were told about the radiator light that came on, check engine light, and the idle was very high. It also sounded like the car was misfiring gears and the brakes. I went to pick it up and was told they changed the oil and put new spark plugs and smogged it. I asked about the radiator and other problems that were supposed to be addressed and the mechanic told me that i needed to fix those things. The owner himself told my fiancee that if anything ever needed to be fixed to call him and he would fix it. Well a lot of $ later and we find out i have a broken motor mount. I'm contacting a lawyer and i will sue for the entire amount we paid for the car and the money that we have had to spend to fix these items. Please think twice about buying from this place. They are just in it for the money and do not have any common decency. I don't feel safe driving this car with my 3 babies in it.
