I went to evia auto sales to see about buying a reiliable car, what i got was a completely different story. I walked in and talked with a sales rep and told him i was a single mom of one child and about to have another and i needed a dependable car to get to work and transport my childern to the babysitter appointmets ect. He tells me "i got a perfect car for you". I looked at it, It appeared to be an alright car and trusted his word that it would be reliable. And i thought it was a good deal bc it had a 24 month warrenty as well. That was my second and biggest mistake.
The first week i got it the car started having issues. The check engine light came on and the car started making a clunking noise in the front end. I called them and brought the car to them they said it was a fuel pump and an axle which they said they fixed but when i got the car back the check engine light was off and the clucking nosie was still present. I called back and the guy i talked with said "ill fix it when something else breaks". Next thing you know the cv boot and axle were broken. So once again i had to bring the car back to get fixed. A few weeks later the car began to stall out and the anti freeze disapeared so again i called to get the car which i now call a lemon looked at. I was told by who ever picked up the phone that he couldnt look at the car till thursday and the car should be okay till then.
So the next day i had my four year old and three week old baby in the car driving them to an appointment and the car stalled out at a four way intersection in glens falls. Mind you glensfalls is a busy place so i was so scared that someone was going to rear end us. I got the car to start and parked it in the cumberland farms parking lot at the intersection. I called my mother to come get my boys and follow me up to evia to drop the lemon off because after trying to call evia and getiing no answer i didnt no what else to do. I get the car to evia and it had over heated for the first time on my way up there. I talked to a guy who worked there in the parking lot and told him what was going on and how it stalled out on me and over heated on my way to drop the car off. I stated i knew my appointment was not till thursday but there was no way i could drive this car home. He talked to the man who sold me the car who is the manger i think and they "acted" all concered and said they would get it looked at and fixed right away. So they send my car to northway transsmission to be fixed which all the parts and everythigs thats wrong the warrenty says that they are covered well i guess not because now after all this they are now telling me that i have to pay for my car to get fixed and come up with $660 something to get my car back. As well as the head gaskets are blown and blah blah blah. Im just so angry because this has all happended in a matter of 3 months and the guy at evias excuse is "i sell used cars, used cars have issues i dont no what else to tell you"
