Went into the Alamo outlet and asked how much it would be to rent a car for the day and drop it off at the airport that evening. Was quoted $45 which was fine with us, when I later checked my credit card statement we were actually charged $121. When I contacted Alamo they said it was because we did not drop the car off at the same location and if we had done it online we would have had accurate results. I informed them that the agent knew the details and should have given us a accurate quote, there's no way we would have rented a car for that price knowingly! They said my complaint was being sent to head office as "customer satisfaction is our number one priority". It has been over a month and no one has contacted me and they have stopped responding to my emails. This lack of competance and respect for their customers is shameful!
