On November 17, I took my car to the Wal-Mart in North Versailles, PA to have an oil change done. Earlier that day, I had checked my oil dipstick and noticed that it was getting dirty and was approximately 1/2 qt. Low, which I topped off and made a point to have the oil changed within the next few days. I drove the car, a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, to the location with no problems whatsoever and dropped it off.
Once there, the tech asked me to sign a waiver as the oil - in his estimation - was off of the dipstick. I knew the level as I had checked it only about 2 hours earlier while the engine was un-started and cold. I explained this to him but new everything was fine with the car so I simply signed it and let them do the oil change.
An hour later, my keys were returned to me and I left to continue doing my errands before going to work. Very soon after startup, while driving down the road, the car started to "buck" some, particularly when I waited at a stoplight.
