I found a car online at Southtowne so my son and I decided to go down there. When we arrived a salesman approached us. I told him they had a car I was interested in. He took me into his office and I told him which one it was. He came back with a sticker price of $19,999 and said he could take off $1,000. Since I already owned a VW. And that he would take off $4500. For my trade in. Bringing the car down to $14,499. Saying what a great deal that was. I explained that the car was listed online for $14,000. So why would I give him my trade in for nothing and pay $500 more than what they even had the vehicle listed for.
That should have been my first clue that they were scandalous. He then asked me what it would take to get me into the car. I told him the price I was willing to pay and how much my payments needed to be. They wrote it all down on a piece of paper and we agreed on everything.
