Financing my current truck with DRIVE FINANCIAL definately HAS to be THE BIGGEST MISTAKE of my life!!!
In order to get DRIVE out of my life, I refinanced my home, and cashed out a bit of equity to pay off my bills, which included paying off IN FULL my truck which was being financed thru DRIVE FINANCIAL!
On July 16, I sent them a check issued by my attorney's trust acct, in the amount of $14,906.
I let a week go by, and called DRIVE to ask them when I will be receiving my title to the truck since I have now paid the loan in full.
WELL! I was informed that i STILL owed an additional $927!!!
When I reviewed the information with the 'customer rep', i was told that 'the company received a check in the amount of $12,746'!
Hmmmmmm... Kinda strange that the amount that DRIVE says that they received is almost IDENTICAL to the issue number of the check, which is # 12726!!!
Guess whoever keys in the amounts of the checks needs to be shown the difference between the check NUMBER and the check AMOUNT!!!
Again, today I called the office (last week I was told to 'call on wednesday, when the accounting dept will have it all worked out'.
Well, today is wednesday, and I called only to be told that 'an email was sent to the accounting dept, and we're still waiting for a reply try calling us back on friday'!
NO WAY! I'm NOT waiting untill friday to call, i'll be calling again tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, and every damn day until I get what is RIGHTFULLY mine! The TITLE to my truck PLUS a check BACK from DRIVE in excess of 2 THOUSAND dollars that I seemed to have OVERPAID them!!!
TRUST me, I WILL accomplish the above.in the past year, I've been in contact with my governor, my state's assemblyman, my state's congressman and other state officials in order to correct a corrupt workman's comp insurance company and I GOT RESULTS!!!
It's unfortunate that I didn't know about DRIVE FINANCIAL'S business practices before I signed the paperwork for the loan, if i knew about this company's corrupt practice and all the letters I've read on this website, I definitely would NOT have gone with DRIVE!!!
Anyone else who is reading this... Beware!!! Save yourself!!! Do not do any business with drive financial!!!
