2009 Honda CR-V Internet

Well, about a week ago, I saw this ad on Kijiji Canada for a 2009 Honda CR-V for 10,550 $. I was like, thats too good to be true. So I emailed the person who had the car. This is what she e-mailed me back:

Hi and thank you for your interest in my 2009 Honda CR-V. This vehicle has absolutely no mechanical problems, no accidents, the engine has no leaks or problems. I'm letting it go with shipping and handling included because I've moved to Spain with my new job and importing it here would cost me too much. The vehicle has Canadian ownership documents on my name and you will have no problem to register it on your name. The vehicle is located in Canada (Whitehorse, YT) ready to be delivered to its buyer with all the necessary documents. Because I'm out of country and I'm not able to close the deal by myself I will use only a third party to handle the sale. They will monitor and transact the exchange of the money, ownership documents and vehicle. If you are interested contact me back and I will give you more pics and specs about it.

Thank You,
Suzanne Rowland

I said that i was interested in the car and this is what she said:

In order to initiate the transaction with MSN Autos, I need your full name and the address where the vehicle to be shipped. MSN Autos will contact you with further details.

The deal would go like this: You have to make the payment (is refundable) to one of MSN Autos's representative trough bank transfer so everything to be traced and secure. They will hold the money until you receive and inspect the vehicle. Once your payment is confirmed by MSN Autos the shipping will be started in 24 hours and it will last 2-3 days until it gets to your address. You will have 5 days for inspection from the moment the vehicle arrives at your address. If the vehicle is not like I have described it you have the right to cancel everything and MSN Autos will refund your payment in maximum 2 working days and the vehicle will be returned on my expense. This way I know that you have the money and you have time to inspect it before committing to buy it, knowing that I don't have access to the money.

Immediately, I knew it was a scam so what I did, I e-mailed her but from another e-mail account and she sent me the exact same thing so i knew it was a scam.

Its weird because about two years ago, on craigslist, there was a nice Apple Laptop for sale and this is the original e-mail:

The Laptop will come with all it's standard accessories like buying it from the shop. Also in his original box.
Well, I found a way to sell the Laptop that will be safe for both of us. It's a worldwide delivery company called TNT. They have a service that will allow you to test the Laptop before I receive my payment.
Please go to the TNT website below and read their procedure so we can be on the same page:

Http://tordepots-tnt.com/tnt. Express. Torino. Depot. Overseas. Transactions.html

I will pay the TNT shipping fee.
If you agree to their terms please send me your name and address and I will start the delivery procedure.

Thanks,
Diane

Now, I've contacted MSN Auto and they said that its not even possible to do what the woman said in the e-mail she wrote. Its a bit fishy so if you see a car at a good price and that they've moved to another country and wants to sell it thru a 3rd party company, it's a scam.

I'm glad that I did not buy the car. It would've been 10,550$ down the drain...
