I ordered a coupon from LivingSocial for a Pottery Birthday Party with for the Coleri International School. But the lady from the Coleri was nasty. I asked for a time on 5/5, Sat, and she only had one time available and that is 12-2pm. When I asked for later time, she would not give me the time that I wanted. So, I said that I will need to call back. Then, I called back right away asked if she has any 2-4 pm available on any Sat from March to June. She told me no and the original day that I requested with the 12-2pm was taken by someone else. That was only 10 mins after we talked!
So, then I asked if I can take the following week for 12-2pm, she never get back to me after I tried to call her at least 20 times. I used my home phone and my daugher's cell phone to call her, she returned the phone call to both of these two phone no. But never called me back.
At this time, I decided to refund my coupon with LivingSocial.com. I was glad that it was within the 5 days time limit and it was illegible to the refund policy. The person on the phone was very pleasant and she refunded my coupon. I also received a confirmation from LivingSocial.com that they will look into the case and do an investigation with the merchant.
I am very please with LivingSocial.com but you have to be careful if you are buying any coupon for classes for any kind of business. Because these smaller merchants can get overwhelmed with the respond and they could not handle the booking. What I learned with this experience is to first call up the place and schedule your appointment because purchase the coupon from LivingSocial.com. They way you know you will have no problem of redeeming your coupons.
