I went to meineke car care center on freedom drive to get my catalyic converter replaced. When i asked for my old one back, they told me it was against the law for them to give me the part off of my car.
I asked them how could it be aganst the law to have a part that came off of my car? I was then told that i would have to pay them $50 to get my old converter back because if the state came into their businees they would be fined if they couldnt show them a converter along with a receipt.
