We stopped in at Earnhardt Toyota in Mesa, AZ a few days ago to look at new cars. Friday February 24 I receiced a message on my cell phone from the salesman we spoke to stating that this weekend they are running a special offering 120% of the Kelly Blue Book, Trade In Value for trade ins.
On our initial visit they offered us $1,500.00 for our trade in. According to the KBB Trade in value the range for our car is $3,286.00 to 4,236.00, depending upon condition. According to the message I still have on my cell phone they should have offered us between $3,943.20 and $5,083.2.
The estimater said their flyer states that they wil pay up to 120% but that is not what I was told by Jacob and Nigel, the internet manager over the telephone. Poor Business Practices.
