In February due to a damaged trunk lid on my car, I went on line to obtain a used trunk lid for my Toyota Camry. I thought that I could save money by doing this without having expensive body work done. I was directed to Mid City Auto Parts via "Junkyard Dog" website.
I filled out the appropriate form on line and was informed that they had a trunk lid for my car. I used Pay Pal to pay for the service and waited and waited for the delivery. Finally after several e-mails back and forth, I recieved the trunk lid from UPS. The item was wrapped so poorly I was surprised that it made it through the channels. The trunk lid was not even for my model car and it was damaged. The brake lights for broken and the corners of the lid we bent badly, it was scratched and dinged and in worse shape than my existing lid.
I proceed to contact Mid-City regarding the damaged goods and was told to send it back via UPS and they will file a claim. I had to have it repackaged to meet UPS standards. A man named Shaun at Mid City Auto told me that he would refund my money and the cost of repackaging the trunk lid. I have gotten nothing but lip service ever since. It is June now and I am still waiting for the promises to be fulfilled.
I am so disappointed in this company and especially the man that I have been talking with. I have had nothing but lies and patronizing conversations with this man/company.
I will never order anything online again because of this incident. I feel violated.
