William Brooks Feb 13. Three hours to get 4 miles by MARTA is outrageous! I went shopping at Wal-Mart on Chamblee tucker, I left there 3:46 pm, the #47 came to the Chamblee station at 4:35 pm, we got to Brookhaven station at around 5 pm. Then after 15 minutes of break time for the driver told us that the bus was out of gas, what? When the new driver came (hour later), he knew about the situation and still waited 10 minutes before leaving the station. I did not get home until 6:45 pm.
The frozen food I had is now bad. Neither I nor anyone else got any explanation or apology. I asked the driver (talking to supervisor) just ignored my question about the other bus. I have on video. Three hours to get about 4 miles is outrageous. If I weren't disabled, I probably would have walked. This story will probably not go anywhere with you all, but I will be letting others know and getting other stories until the contempt by your drivers and supervisors thinking they can piss on your customers and nothing will happen, wait until I tell the government advocates find out about the practices you condone. I wonder if that will affect the grants. We will see. Thank you for your time.
