My 95 neon was recently stolen, so I decided that I would have the dealer do the repairs. The reason for this is the fact that whenever I take my car to the dealer they seem to be able to find problems that I don't know about. Expecting a comprehensive inspection and report to the insurance company was not what I recieved. The dealer just agreed with the adjuster, they didn't argue my case at all. My engine has only 40,000 kilometers on it and since the theft is making noise. The dealer said that this is perfectly normal, with the adjusters confirmation of coarse before he spoke. My oil pan is smashed up now apparently, one day before my car was stolen I had my oil changed and their was no problem with the oil pan, I guess when I drove 2 kilometers home frome canadian tire and parked underground I must have ran over a curb, according to the trusty dealer. I received extreamly poor service that was rude and unfair, my warning to the consumer is don't trust the dealer, go to the small guy he is looking to make money, and keep your buisness. Chrysler Canada is turning their heads to this sort of fraud and said they cannot control the way their customers are treated by dealers. Guess what my car is 6 years old, I will be shopping at ford this year, maybe they will appreciate their customers
