I went in for a 109.00 Tax brake job & Left with a $1212.60 Tax Headache. They said that this included pads, labor, bleeding the brakes, & turning the rotors.
I knew I would need one rotor because the pad was gone & had worn into the rotor.
They said it was because the calipers were bad so they would have to rebuild them, even though the others looked like they had normal wear. They also said that they did not carry those pads so they would have to buy them elsewhere. They also said that the rotors were not normal so they charged me for turning them.
The funny thing about the whole deal is that they knew when my wife called exactly what type of vehicle I had. So why is it such a surprise that they didn't have the right stuff when I showed up.
I'm Desputing the charges on my Amex, so I hope they're ready to fight...
