On 8/7/09 I had brakes done on my car. They installed front disc brake pads, resurfaced one front rotor and replaced the other rotor.installed brake shoes and resurfaced rear drums. I then returned on 10/12/09 to have the front pads replaced free of charge because they were still in the warranty. There had only been 2 months that had passed between the installations. They stated that the pads must have been faulty. I then went back 12/30 stating the front brakes are grinding. They checked them out and then statedthat the pads and rotorsneeded to be replaced again and I had to pay for them because they were out of warranty. I refused to pay for them because they shouldnt have to be replaced within a year. They said I drive to much. I went to another place for a quote and second opnion on why the brakes had to be replaced so soon. The second opinion given was that I should have had 2 new rotors put on the front not just one and that they are supposed be sold in pairs. If they had replaced both rotors the first time I wouldnt have needed a second opinion. I have a child and need these replaced but I dont have the money to do so. I paid Mr. Brakes $306.94 to have the brakes fixed. I would like my money back.
