Not recommended for classic cars or brake kits. Brought a 67 Mustang to Danny's (owner of Lindsey's) shop to get a power front disc brake kit installed. Was quoted a price of $450 with the ensurance that I would receive a call if the price would need to increase due to any unforseen problems. Danny said he would only warranty the work, not the parts, and that is understandable. The kit was missing a part so we had to wait for it to come into his shop, that was very nice of him. I also believe that he did keep the car garaged. That being said, the rest of my experience with this Mechanic was unpleasant.
After the work was completed, he explained to me the problems they had with installing this kit for wheel clearance. Ultimately I was told that the job was completed succesfuly and it was time to pay. He started out by telling me that they spent 16 hours on this and were only going to charge 8 hours of labor, at a rate of $85 an hour.
