My husband and I brought in our leased 1998 Toyota Tacoma for a trade in. We were over our mileage, but the salesman assured us that this would be absorbed by the dealership. The papers were drawn up and signed. One month later we received a letter from the finance company that we owed $1684.55 for excess mileage. This came as a surprise to us because we had spoken to the salesman specifically about this problem.
We went to talk with the salesman and he denied that the discussion took place. We spoke with the manager, but to no avail. Customer service was NOT of the utmost importance.
We have leased/purchased FIVE vehicles from this dealership and are completely disappointed with the service that we have received. Although we are happy with the truck, we are unhappy with the lies and deception that this dealership practices.
