Me and my husband purchased a kia at University Kia in Huntsville, AL. There was a promotion of 10 yr/100000 mi warranty on new/used kias. I heard it on the radio, not sure if the station keeps up with what was aired last september. We bought a used kia and my husband asked the salesman named "smitty" if it had this warranty. He told us yes. We then went to financing when we finally got them down to a reasonable price, it was overpriced by $3500. The finance guy sold us an extra warranty that covers small things like windsheild wiper/window motors and all the other small electronical things. He informed us it was a 36 month warranty. He failed to mention it was a 36 mo/45000 mi warranty. The vehicle had 44109 miles when we bought it. If he had mentioned this he knew we would not of bought a warranty for 36 months or 900 miles! He intentionally withheld information and the salesmanes flat LIED! I only agreed to go to this dealership because my husband was so set on the warranty which they failed to give us even though it was promised. I usually shop Rxxxxx Toyota they have yet to screw me that I am aware of anyway.
