I found an Isuzu Rodeo LS 4x4 on the web listed for sale at Southern Hospitality Automotive Group's wholesale center for $3150.00. I went there with a sales person from their airport Dodge, Jeep, Fiat dealership to look at the Rodeo. The manager there said the car was listed at the wrong price, and that there was "no way I'll sell that car for $3150.00". We held him to the price and signed a sales agreement, and an "as is" sales agreement. He told me I could drive the car and have it evaluated for major mechanical deficiencies, and get my money back if there was a major problem. When we left, after signing all the papers, he stated that the car would be detailed, inspected, and ready for pickup on Friday, 12/30. When we were getting ready to go pickup the car, my salesman called and said he called to make sure the car was ready and the manager told him they no longer had the car. The manager stated he wholesaled the car. He kept his word about not selling the car for $3150.00. I have contacted an attorney, and we are going to sue the dealership for breach of contract, and I am posting the story on usacomplaints.com to alert people of the kind of people they will be dealing with at Southern Hospitality Automotive Group. Beware. Evidently written contracts take a back seat to profits and integrity at their organization.
