I have used Tokyo Motor Imports for several engine purchases and for the most part I have been satisfied with the items I received. The same cannot be said for the customer service.
This last time I purchased an engine, I deposited the funds directly into their companys TD bank account on a monday. On tuesday I received confirmation that the funds were seen in the account and that the engine would be shipped wednesday at the latest.
When I called them on thursday, they claimed to have sent it on wednesday and they emailed my tracking number a few minutes later. I finally received the tracking number email thursday afternoon and after checking the number (on saturday) I was informed that the pickup date was Friday!
Long story short, they flat out lied to me and when I called to confront them about it they basically told me to get lost.
Please do not be fooled by the "great" prices and "free shipping" that is found on the website, If you ever have any issues with the items you order they will be of no help and you'll be stuck with useless parts that you paid for.
