Poor quality seats, scam, does not back product

I contacted customer care on October 12 regarding the cloth on the front passenger and driver side which is wearing out on my 2008 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I have been going back and forth between the Motor Village Dealership here in LA, Jeep customer service and Dave Driscol the service dept manager is not even contacting me back.

I bought this car new in have only had it for 3 years and the mileage is under 27,000.00 miles. Pictures were sent their digital imaging department which clearly show that the cloth used is wearing so thin that there are holes in the driver's side and the picture of the passenger side doesn't show it well but will have a hole soon.

I've previously bought a new Jeep wrangler which I loved for 7 years, never had issues with and which is why I purchased a 2nd Jeep. I'm very unhappy with the quality of cloth used on my current seats as this should not be happening on a car so new and unused.

Digital imagining approved a seat cover for just the driver side and I was told that if the passenger side got a hole then they would consider the passenger side but if they are not installed at the same time then they will be different colors from wear and the passenger side will have a hole very soon. Also, I was told that I would have to pay $100 deductible. I did
a little research and found sets of the seat cover (both the passenger and drivers side) for under $200.00 so why I'm being required to pay $100 for only 1 seat cover has me wondering if I'm being scammed because it seems like I'm actually paying for it all myself. I've been told that this also covers installation but c'mon, since it's a seat cover, I can install them myself in minutes.

After all this time and getting nowhere with Jeep, I bought the set that I found online and wanted to get reimbursed by Jeep for something that is very clearly Jeep's use of poor materials in making the seats and something that Jeep should take responsibility for. I wonder how anyone would feel if they spent over $30,000.00, had a 3 year old car with under 27 thousand miles on it and which it's seats are already wearing out, anyone in my situation would be extremely unhappy.

Since this is my 2nd Jeep, I've spent over $60,000.00 on Jeep cars so honestly, after all this time and correspondence it is a little out of hand for such a simple request that would cost Jeep under $200.00 and could be written off, would keep a 2
time jeep buyer happy and wanting to stay with Jeep for my next car. I have been incredibly patient for almost 2 months but the dealership has been less than helpful and is not even returning my emails so after all of this I'm now frustrated and angry.

Given that Jeep declares the Wrangler as the "toughest car ever with rugged interior and craftsmanship that lives strong in the Wrangler Unlimited" this is completely unacceptable and not at all an accurate statement. Also, in this tough economic times where people are not spending money I would think that you would want to keep a loyal customer happy and coming back for more but apparently Jeep doesn't care. Also, the last person that I spoke with said that my car is shown as 2007 when in fact all of the paperwork that I have says 2008 so apparently this is yet another case of Jeep scamming.
