I recently had Priebe's do some insurance repair work on my SUV. The day I call they told me to bring it down, they procured a rental for me and assured me everything was taken care of. The repairs were originally estimated at 4 days, however Priebe's took 19. During that time I had to call back numerous times to see if and when my truck would be done and received no calls from them with updates. After nearly 3 weeks, I picked up my truck and was on my way.
However 2 weeks after that I received a bill for over $600 from the rental car company. I called and they said that the
insurance company refused to pay more and 4 days for the rental as the repairs took an unnecessary extra 15 days. I have played middle man with Priebe's, the insurance company and the rental place for over a month now. During that time Priebe's promised me that they would take responsibility with me and pay the full amount and then seek reimbursement from the rental company and/or insurance company as a worst case scenario. I am sitting here writing this now out $600 due to the mismanagement of my auto repair by Priebe's and with no sign that Priebe's will live up to their word and numerous assurances.
