In 2006 my husband and I bought a 2004 Lincoln LS from Ford which is now worth $8,900. We put $12,000 down, made car payments for a few years and then ended up sleeping in our car. We called many times and were told to just return it-no trying to work it out. Then we got a VA voucher and when we moved they repo-the car and auctioned it for $5,000. They still say we owe $9,000 and are suing us. Let's do the math! The car is now worth $8,900, we paid $12,000 down made a few years car payments let's say at least $3,000, then they take the car back and auction it for more than $5,000 that equals $20,000 of funds from us on a car currently worth $8,900!!! Come on FORD pull the needle out of this VIETNAM VETS arm haven't you got enough money yet??? My god-does this company (ford) say they love american's and then rip off it's veterans. cbs, nbc, and abc-where are you? Let the AMERICAN people know how FORD treats it's Veterans. If anyone reads this and can tell me how to contact the media-please, let me know!!! They're killing us with their*greed*
