On April 9th we purchased gas for $60.12 at either the Milford or Seward NE Casey's gas station. We could barely drive the car (on I-80) and had to exit at Lincoln NE approximately 20 miles east. Our 2007 Acura RL had to be towed to Omaha NE where the gas was announced 'bad gas', it was removed from the tank, repairs made, and returned to us. The cost of repair was in excess of $800.00.

We have had numerous letters, emails, phone calls over several months with the corporate office, Mindy Brincks in Risk Management as well as Bob Truhlsen from the corporate office. We have had a complete denial of our claim. Therefore, we filed a Summons and Complaint on or about September 1 in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, our home state which is being served to the corporate office in Ankeny IA.

We have no results yet from that Complaint, but our return court date is either October 18th or 19th. This complaint will aid us in our quest for costs. We can furnish you with more information as time goes on. We had asked if they had any other complaints about 'bad gas' and were told "No".
