I spoke with Mr. Casey regarding remodeling part of my home. He claimed he had experiece in this work, looked over the job and provided a bid. I accepted the bid, along with the addition that the work be completed by May, 7. Mr Casey agreed, and asked for one half payment upfront for materials.
Mr. Casey received the payment for $5,000, one half the job in early April. He cashed the check into his personal account. During the next thirty days Mr. Casey refused to return calls and only e-mailed once to tell me "he would get it done".
As of today, June 17, Mr. Casey has done hothing on the job he contracted for, he has moved to Louisburg, Kansas, and refuses to communicate except for one brief e-mail telling me his wife was leaving him.
I advise potential customers to avoid Mr. Casey, and his company ProBuilt by KC. I am currently putting the documents together requested by the District Attorney's office to pursue criminal fraud charges against Mr. Casey and his company.
