I purchased a truck form Texas Motors Ford, when I filed out credit application to allow them Texas Motor Ford to pull my credit report; they used the shot-gun tactic. I authorized them, and them only to pull my credit report.
It seems they use whats called a shotgun credit hit on your credit report causing 6-8 inquiries to show up on your credit report. As anyone will know this is a very bad hit on your credit score and credit report.
I did not authorize all the other lenders to pull my credit report only TMF. If you ever intend on applying for a home loan or other credit beware of this type of scam. They say it is perfectly legal and I can do nothing about it.
I will be filing a complaint with the FTC, BBB, and the Texas Attorney General, and contacting my attorney, as I never authorized the other lenders to pull my report, TMF should have supplied the lenders with the report they initially pulled. I will be looking to see if they violated federal credit laws, and will file a lawsuit if need be.
These people are scum and nothing but con artist. BEWARE OF THE SALES MANAGER BRIAN he is a little liar, and the General Manager, is nothing more than a crook.
They are the worst dealership I will never do business with again, and I will repost this complaint monthly until they change their ways, or make amends for what they have done to my credit report.
They have cost me a loan on a new home purchase over to many inquiries, even with a high score!
