I have a joint account with Wescom Credit Union and on December 31. My partner decided to apply for a Equity Line of Credit under him only. Come to find out that Wescom run my credit report and score instead of the applicant, the reason given is that i am the primary owner of the account. But i argued that Wescom should be double checking the application before ordering credit report and score. Wescom is refusing to admit thier mistake and thier "FLAWED SYSTEM".
If you have an account with Wescom Credit Union." BEWARE" make sure to double check your credit report especially if it is a joint account if you are applying for any kind of loan. Wescom Credit Union has run my credit report without my permission and consent. If anyone has a similar experience you can file your formal complaint with National Credit Union Association (1-800-622-0620 or 916 445-3326.
