I bought a 2001 ford 250 super-duty and put 3500$ down for the down payment. I did not get to test drive this truck because they were avoiding me but really wanted to get this truck for my husbands 21st birthday. I signed all the pappers for me and my husband but had to go outside to sign his name for the truck.
SO i get to drive off the lot with this perfect truck. Abut 2 days later my husband was on his way to work and the tire pops. They put too much air in the tire not t mention there was no tred on the back tires. 1 day later we noticed a hole in the readitor. And then once again we took off the driverside tire in the front and there was nothing holding to brake claper on. The frount end needed new ball joins and new oil change as well. But still we kept the truck and requested to get it fixed.
I called the finance company Budget Auto Finance and talked to a very nice lady went by the name Amanda she told me where to take the truck and so i did...
3 weeks later were moving to Ellis Kansas and made it to a bridge in Refero Texas keep in mind i lived in Rockport at the time. That is less than 1 hr from my house. So we get out and see what went wrong and a pulley is twisted off. So we pulled up under the bridge and get everything from the truck we really need and put it in our chevy Z71.
I called the finance asap and explaned to them what happened and they said they would do us a favor and tow the truck back to my house in rockport.
I called them that next morning and i quote " We cant find the truck" but yet they have a tracking device in the truck? Made no since to me. So finally i get a call from the finance company its thelma this time and she informs me they took my truck to there impound lot. That i dont understand? But i just blew it off.
The following week im calling the finance company to let them know im sinding off my truck payment of 500.00$ and thay put me on hold and said let me call you back. I get the call back hours later from a man i never have talked to telling me i have ten days to come up with 10,000 dollars or find a new finance company? But wouldent tell me why. And till this day i dont understand why i dont have my truck or my money back...
I still have 800$ worth of tires and other stupp in the truck and was told even if i come down to get my thinng i can not enter the truck. I just want justace only God knows how many young people he has done wrong.
